Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you are entitled to specific rights regarding your personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
1. Right to Know and Access
You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection, use, disclosure, and sale of your personal information. Once we receive and verify your verifiable consumer request, we will disclose to you:
- The categories of personal information we collected about you.
- The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you.
- Our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling that personal information.
- The categories of third parties with whom we share that personal information.
- The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you (also called a data portability request).
2. Right to Delete
You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and verify your consumer request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies.
3. Right to Correct Inaccurate Information
If you believe that the personal information we maintain about you is inaccurate, you have the right to request that we correct the inaccurate information.
4. Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing
You have the right to direct us to not sell or share your personal information. We "sell" or "share" personal information of free (non-Genius) accounts for the purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise this right, send us a notice to support@qbit.app.
5. Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information
You have the right to request that we limit our use of your sensitive personal information to that which is necessary to perform the services or provide the goods reasonably expected by an average consumer.
6. Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under California law, including by:
- Denying you goods or services.
- Charging you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through the use of discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.
- Providing you a different level or quality of goods or services.
- Suggesting that you will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
Exercising Your California Privacy Rights
To exercise the rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by emailing us at support@qbit.app.
Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you.
Shine the Light Disclosure
California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our website that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
